Support for International Ambassador on board answering questions, suggestions, and descriptive literature in various languages on
to the shore excursions, onboard activities, entertainment, etc.
Escorting guests to shore excursions to help non-English speaking guests. Does the opportunity to socialize with guests and assistance available to guests.
Assists guests with immigration and customs procedures and forms and aspects
Customs and Immigration at the embarkation and debarkation process. Behavior of individual or group presentations at international guests on departure and arrival procedures. Disseminates information, and directs
accompanying guest staterooms and / or outputs. May provide translation for customs and immigration officials.
Should practice sound and prudent business sense and high professional ethics at all times. Maintains confidence and protects guests organization reputation by keeping guests and business information confidential.
Performing all duties as put out by the Guest Services Manager, as the Guest Services desk work, contact with the guests, to help any established procedures within the Guest Services Division and active support
business requirements dictate.
Minimum requirements to be adopted:
Ability to use multi-lingual customer service skills proven through the exercise of authority and freedom to satisfy the guests (some of whom require a high degree of discretion, patience, tact and diplomacy) in a manner consistent with company standards .
Ability to speak, read and write clear, clear and friendly English plus at least three other languages, including Spanish, Italian, French, German or Portuguese. Additional languages can also be a mix of the following: Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Chinese and Russian. A language proficiency test may be required
Reading and writing English, plus at least two languages other words, to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and answer questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers
Ability to much attention to detail.
Working knowledge of computers with e-mail and business software such as word processing and spreadsheet applications, knowledge to all office equipment
and ability to perform basic mathematical functions relating
products and services, pricing practices
Minimum of two years front of house manager / operational experience in a hotel, cruise or hospitality related field preferred or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited college, university or the international equivalent preferred.
Flexibility to manage change and ability to work positively and cooperatively in a diverse team environment to meet all deadlines for the Guest Services division operation
